Dallas Luxury Rental Photography: Casa Bohëm by Citizen Nomad

The living room in the Casa Bohem Townhouse by Citizen Nomad. This monochromatic yet modernist interior space is full of texture and unique details

Earlier last month I took the plunge and finally scheduled my long overdue brand photo shoot for my website relaunch. It was a whirlwind of a day. I hired the best brand photographer I could find (Monika Normand is a branding queen, I can’t recommend her enough, my photos turned out amazing!) and I hired hair and makeup artist Vee Matthews. Vee and I first met when I photographed Nikki Chu at her home, and I loved Nikki’s makeup so much that I knew I had to hire Vee when I was ready to get my brand photos taken. Since I’m a Dallas Interiors Photographer, I rented a really stylish townhouse so Monika could capture me in my element, helping me showcase to the world the kind of photography I specialize in and offer to clients without outright telling them.

A two hour photoshoot and four outfit changes later and I had a beautiful gallery of images to pepper across my website and social media channels. I was elated. I’m also one to never let an opportunity to take interior photos go to waste, so I snapped some images of Casa Bohem, the townhouse I rented for my brand photo shoot, and one of the newer concepts from Citizen Nomad.

This bedroom features vintage oil painting, a cane headboard, mid-century style nightstands with a marble top, and a wood and accordion lamp shades

This dining room shot was beautifully enhanced by the custom floral arrangement I ordered from Patricio Rivera of Twelve Thirty Four Florals in Dallas, Texas.

This stunning dining area features open shelving and cabinets for additional storage, a pedestal table, plants, and arched back cane dining chairs.

Casa Bohëm is described by the Mr. Nomad team as a hideaway designed with tranquility and relaxation in mind, a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city yet hidden from the outside world. The interior decor is described as a fusion of old world charm and modernism, featuring natural stone elements, terracotta, wood and other natural textures.

The incorporation of arches shows reverence for the Moorish cultures that have shaped the Mediterranean’s architectural identity. I didn’t have a ton of time during my session, and I was losing valuable light, so I did more of a run and gun shoot, moving swiftly from room to room, making adjustments on the fly but working to capture the images quickly. I had a friend who was waiting on me to meet her for dinner so I had to move fast.

Once I got the photos into my processing software I was happy with how they turned out. Here are a few of my favorites from the session, along with my favorite headshots and photos from my branding session.

I really loved the thoughtful design details throughout the spaces, from the white pedestal table and open shelving in the dining room area, to the bedrooms featuring a creamy white paint and accordion lamp shades with vintage art.

This beautiful home bar area in the living room features a woven cabinet, amber leopard drinking glasses, a gold bar tray, and all the accessories you’ll need to make a lovely afternoon cocktail.

Brand photo of yours truly, happy as a little clam in my element, I love photographing interior spaces.

This dreamy bedroom gives true bohemian cool girl vibes with this textural canopy bed, accordion lamp sconces, arched floor mirror, and plenty of greenery in the plants.
