Eclectic Mid-Century
Texas Ranch
Organic Modernism. Vintage Soul. Collected Texas Living.
My East Dallas ranch home is a deeply personal reflection of layered living, blending organic modern design with what I can only define as estate sale vintage eclecticism.
Originally built in 1964 and renovated prior to purchase, the home embraces its mid-century roots while evolving into a warm, collected sanctuary shaped by art, texture, and thoughtful imperfection.
Architectural elements like the sunken living room, vaulted ceilings, and expansive entertaining spaces create a strong foundation for the home’s relaxed, design-forward atmosphere. Throughout the interiors, cool blue tones are grounded by soft gray-beige neutrals, natural woods, and tactile materials that contribute warmth and balance.
Open shelving, vintage furnishings, sculptural lighting, and nature photography serve as focal points throughout the home, reinforcing a connection to the outdoors.
The home balances clean organic modern lines with soulful, secondhand character, embracing pieces with history, patina, and personality.
